Notes:

The Bead Head Minnow is a simple, quick and effective streamer. It only has one material (two colors), a hook and a bead. That's it. No tail, no body material, in fact, the hook shank is bare. Yet it catches a lot of fish for me. I've seen (and fished) variations of this fly tied with Krystal Flash or Flashabou for the wing - nothing works as well as the recommended wing material called Wing-n-Flash. The material used to be called Lite-Brite but is now marketed under the name Wing-n-Flash and is supplied by Wapsi. -Mike
