Notes: For the Hopper Swap. I have had great luck with this simple fly on brook trout ponds, especially in the fall. Dress it with floatant and use a sit and twitch retrieve. When the trout want this fly (especially the smaller ones), they typically come completely out of hte water and come down on the fly head first. It's tough to hook them, if you do it's usually through the upper lip. Awful entertaining. Good luck! -Bob
