Materials
Hook: Standard dryfly 12-16
Thread: Olive
Tail: Tiny tuft of yellow Antron, clipped short
Body: Olive turkey biot
Thorax: Olive dubbing
Underwing: Medium dun Antron
Wing: Olive or dun CDC
Legs: CDC fibers from the butt of the wings pulled down on either side of the hook
Antennae: Two wood duck fibers curved over the wing
Head: One strand of peacock herl wrapped

Notes:
This fly can be tied in any color combination to match a particular caddis hatch. Use a minimum of two CDC feathers for smaller flies and three for larger. CDC flies work well in slower water and glides where trout can be more selective. CDC has a natural floatant and you should not use any floatant as it will destroy the fly. If the fly becomes waterlogged or after unhooking a fish, rinse it well, dry it in dessicant and it will return to its normal floatability. -Terry
