Notes:

The Cosseboom is one of my favorite flies since I caught my first salmon on one in 1962. This fly presented here is tied in the Newfoundland tradition, small and sparse with a low profile. While typically Newfoundland flies are tied with moose hair, any color from black to white on the Cosseboom is effective, I include all phases of color in my fly-box including red squirrel. The green, redheaded Cosseboom is a very effective fly in western Newfoundland rivers, but especially on the Lomond River.~Wayne
