Hook: Bartleet Supreme#2 (Original-Eppendorf tippet)

Thread: rear- Unithread, front, black

Tag: fine oval silver

Tail: bright yellow fur (PB)

Butt: black Ostrich

Body: rear-yellow SLF, front-black wool (Yuri's original has red SLF and "Surebrjanka" underfur)

Rib: medium oval silver

Body "hackle": SMALL amount of Black bear at body joint and at front

Throat: longish Teal

Wing: Silver Pheasant body feather

Notes:

Yuri Shumakov originated the DD Akroyd variant (http://www.angelfire.com/wa/salmonid/yuri11.html) which enables one to tie up smaller versions on tubes. He originally used Teal for the wing, and I've "sub'd" this with the Silver Pheasant feather. Also by using the bright orange thread, the rear really lights up when held in the sunlight. Tied up this version on a 1.5" Eppendorf plastic lab tippet. ~Cheers, Brian
