Pattern
Hook: Gamakatsu T10-6H or any heavy salmon iron size 6 to 1/0
Thread: Danville Flymaster 6/0
Feelers: 5-6 polar bear or bucktail hairs, dark, length of hook shank, topped with 2 strands of angel hair
Facial hair: small bunch of seal fur or sub, dark magenta, tied under hook shank
Back hair: thin rabbit strip, black
Egg head: 1-2 turns of New Age Chenille or similar, Fl. Chartreuse
Eyes:(optional) iridescent green feather from back of golden pheasant, "wishboned" ala GP,
tipped with black enamel [note: these eyes were added for the Swap, and are as yet
untested. Feel free to clip them off if you find them offensive- they'll probably get
chewed off in short order anyway ;)]
Rib: Oval gold tinsel
Hackle: Black saddle, wound tightly behind rib
Body: Silver tinsel
Covert: GP breast feather, 2 strands of angel hair, topped with dark teal or mallard

This fly has proved deadly for me in the Fall on the Margaree, and in NL in high cold water, but
no guarantees! I hope you have good luck with it, might be worth a try when all else fails...
