Head: Red glass bead

Thread: White, 8/0

Body: Fine pearlescent flashabou, coated with clear finish.

Rib: Very fine gold wire

Thorax: Peacock herl

Notes:

A good caddis pupa pattern wherever it is fished. Wiggle the ribbing when tying it to the hook shank to increase the "edge" to the fly to let the flashy body have a few more facets. Coat the body with a layer or two of clear finish for protection. Tie off behind the bead. Good luck. - Hunter
