Thread: Black
Tail: Red bucktail
Head: Lacquered black thread
Eyes: Optional b/w paint
Wing/Hackle: Irridescent or holographic tinsel, then black bucktail topped off with peacock herl
Cheek: Red throat
Body/Underbody: Wool yarn covered with silver tinsel with optional oval tinsel

I call it the Kitchen Sink because it includes features of all my favorite streamers - it's basically a Black Nose Dace but it's a good fly to use anywhere there are smelts - the one in the photo is having a bad hair day - it also would have a bit more black bucktail - it also works well in places where the fish have seen a lot of the standard patterns - Tight Lines! -Brian
